AUSTRATICS Co., Ltd. ("Austratics", "we") is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@austratics.com. Last updated: 27 Oct 2026.
1. What we collect, and why
| When | What | Why (lawful basis) |
|---|---|---|
| You request a sample brief | Email (required); your name and business (optional); the report language you choose; when and how you consented | To send you the sample brief (your consent). Your email is printed on every page of your copy, to discourage onward sharing; that is part of this purpose. |
| You tick "Send me occasional news" | Your email and that choice | Occasional news from Austratics (your separate consent, optional; withdraw any time) |
| You buy a report | Your name and email; the Google Maps links of the venues; the report language; the order, payment status and the payment reference, and the billing name, address and country the payment processor returns for the payment, printed on your receipt / tax invoice. We never see your card number: the payment processor handles it directly. | To deliver your order and contact you about it (contract); to issue tax documents and keep tax records (legal obligation) |
| You ask for a full tax invoice | Your business name, address, country, tax ID and head office or branch, as you give them at checkout or send them | To issue the tax invoice (legal obligation) |
| Any visit | A one-way hash of your IP address when you submit a form; aggregate, cookieless page statistics | To prevent abuse of our forms (legitimate interest); to understand which pages are read, without identifying you (legitimate interest) |
2. Who receives your data (service providers & processors)
We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own advertising. To operate this service, we share necessary data only with vetted third-party service providers acting on our instructions:
- Cloud hosting & infrastructure: web hosting and content delivery providers located in the United States.
- Database & cloud storage: managed database infrastructure hosted in Singapore.
- Payment processing: payment gateways and billing providers located in the United States and Ireland (payment card details are processed directly by the payment processor and are not stored on our servers).
- Email & communication: transactional email and domain services hosted in the United States.
Where data is transferred outside Thailand, we ensure adequate protection through data processing agreements and standard contractual safeguards in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
3. How long we keep it
- Sample-brief requests: 24 months, then erased. Earlier on request. After erasure we keep only a one-way hash of your email, so that each email receives one sample brief.
- Orders and tax documents: 7 years. The Revenue Code requires at least 5 years, and the Director-General may extend that.
- News consent: until you withdraw it.
4. Your rights
You may ask to access or receive a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to move it to another service. You may withdraw consent at any time; past processing stays lawful.
- Write to hello@austratics.com. We answer within 30 days.
- You may also complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
5. People whose public reviews we analyse
Our reports are built from publicly available reviews and public reviewer profiles on review platforms. We read them automatically. We never name customers; the quotes are their own public reviews.
- We screen the reviews we quote, to leave out those that name the reviewer or a member of staff.
- If you believe your public reviews are in our data and you want them excluded, write to hello@austratics.com with a link to your public profile, and we will exclude them from future reports.
6. Security
Data is stored with access limited to Austratics. Payment data stays with the payment processor. If a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we notify the PDPC within 72 hours and tell you when the risk is high.
7. Changes
We will post any change here, with the date above.
